ST. PAUL’S WOMEN’S GROUP

WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A CONTRIBUTING MEMBER OF A GROUP OF DEDICATED WOMEN who are gathering together to plan social and spiritual activities for the women of the parish?

Mission Statement: To provide a fellowship for the women of St. Paul’s Catholic Church through activities that bond together personal, parish and community spirituality.

Funeral receptions.  LUNCHEON VOLUNTEERS are still needed. We are trying to get enough parishioners to volunteer, so that you would only get called upon every third or fourth funeral. Because we have so many parishioners who travel or have other plans, it’s hard to find enough people who can work on short notice. We welcome both male and female volunteers. We serve only finger foods, so it’s not hard to donate food. Our menu consists of finger sandwiches, fresh veggies and fruit, bars and cookies and cheese and crackers. Please call Susan Gordon at 653-3613. Thank you for volunteering to be a part of the Funeral Ministry in our parish.

Volunteers are desperately needed!

St. Paul’s office is staffed by volunteers Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Because many volunteers have moved away or resigned for personal reasons, there is a need for new people. 3 hours per month!!! 9 a.m. to noon!!! There are well over 500 families registered at St. Paul’s - surely we can find men or women with 3 hours a month on their hands. If you are willing to serve, please call Armand Ouellett at 654-6819 and if the line is busy, keep trying. We expect hundreds (o.k. maybe 10 or 12) to take up the gauntlet.
